On July 14, local time, the United Kingdom announced that it would stop using Huawei equipment in 5G construction. This decision is disappointing and is bad news for all mobile phone users in the UK. This may cause the UK to fall into the slow lane of digital development, increase consumer spending on communications, and deepen the digital divide. This move will not only "enhance" it, but it will reduce Britain's development level. We urge the government to reconsider this decision. We are confident that the new US regulatory measures will not affect the resilience and safety of the products we provide to the UK.
Unfortunately, Huawei’s future development in the UK is politicized. This move stems from US trade policy, not security issues. Over the past 20 years, Huawei has focused on building better network connections in the UK. As a responsible enterprise, we will continue to support our customers as always.

10 月 5 日 4 时 24 分 32 秒，甘肃省永靖县盐锅峡镇党川村黑方台党川 6 号和 7 号滑坡体附近新发生了一起黄土滑坡，滑坡体积在 2 万m³左右。高精度北斗/GNSS 监测系统的实时监测，成功提前发出预警信息，避免人员伤亡与财产损失。

此次预警相当精确。灾害什么时候开始、什么时候结束精确到秒，移动范围甚至精确到毫米！
2019 年 3 月 26 日，高精度北斗/GNSS 监测系统利用北斗高精度实现毫米级监测，提前两天预警甘肃黄土滑坡。那么该监测系统到底能提前多久预警？目前该系统能够提前 30 天对滑坡发出黄色预警，提前 1 天发出橙色预警，提前 7 个小时自动对这次滑坡发出了红色预警，提前 23 分钟提供较为准确的滑坡临滑时间预报。
监测系统还将预警信息发送至预警平台以短信、邮件方式通知了当地镇政府、镇地质灾害应急中心和村级干部。
北斗地基增强系统的建设，利用天上的北斗卫星和地上的一张网，共同提供北斗高精度服务。相当于地面有了一个精确校准器，令定位精度精确到厘米级甚至毫米级。这也正是北斗高精度监测的优势所在。
精准的时间和位置在灾害预警监测中尤为重要。同时，北斗高精度应用于其他防灾减灾领域能够发挥北斗特色优势，防范于未然，最大限度保障人民生命财产安全。
该监测预警系统是长安大学承担的国家 973 项目“黄土重大灾害及灾害链的发生、演化机制与防控理论”、国家自然基金重点项目“基于空天地技术的滑坡识别与智能监测预警”和国家重点研发计划项目“特大滑坡实时监测预警与技术装备研发”的系列研究成果，为后续开展滑坡等突发性地质灾害的监测预警和技术装备研发奠定了基础。
